Symmetrical balance is when the picture is balanced out, it’s like the same thing is on both sides, if u can put a mirror in the middle of the picture and one side of the picture comes out in the mirror evenly then it’s symmetricalAsymmetrical balance is when the picture is evened out but its different weights on both sides but it’s still even. U can have a bunch of little people on one side and one big person on the other side, that’s asymmetrical.
When you have visual balance it makes the view want to look at the picture more, it interests them to looking deeper in the picture; to see what makes the picture balanced.
